Unite Kentucky Launches Its Civic Conversation Series with a Gun Violence Prevention Panel

LOUISVILLE, Ky., January 30, 2026 – Unite Kentucky, a Super PAC reshaping Commonwealth politics, is launching its inaugural Civic Conversations Series with a powerful discussion on gun violence prevention in Lexington, KY.

Public Safety: Building a Safer Commonwealth Together will convene leading advocates for an urgent conversation about protecting Kentucky communities through evidence-based solutions and common-sense gun safety reform.

  • Whitney Austin, a gun violence survivor and co-founder of Whitney/Strong, an organization that advocates for evidence-based gun safety and legislative solutions.

  • Devine Carama, director of ONE Lexington and founder of Believing in Forever Inc., combines award-winning artistry with grass-roots activism.

  • Hegal Banjade, Henry Clay High School senior leading Team ENOUGH’s youth mobilization. Partnered with ONE Lexington to hand out hundreds of gun locks in the Lexington community.
